If you're shopping for a bag and your first question is "will my laptop actually fit in this thing?" — you're asking the right question. And it deserves a straight answer, not a vague size chart.
We make bags in a wide range of sizes and styles. So here's the full rundown, smallest to largest, with real device references so you can figure out exactly where you land.
One housekeeping note before we get into it: our bags are hand-sewn, which means dimensions can vary by about a quarter inch. Account for that tolerance when you're evaluating fit. And if you're on the fence about sizing, don't let that stop you — we'll work with you to get it right.
We'll be using Apple products as reference points throughout. If you've got a different machine, just cross-reference your device's actual measurements against the bag.
MBD
10" long × 6" tall × 2.5" deep | ~10 oz
Start here if you want the smallest carry we make. The MBD is not a laptop bag. Not even close. It's built for your phone, an iPad mini, or something like a Nintendo Switch. That's its sweet spot.
If you're thinking about fitting a full-size iPad in here — that's not going to happen. And honestly, that's fine. The MBD is intentional by design. Not every situation calls for hauling a computer, and this bag knows that.
Satchel 11
11" wide × 7.5" tall × 3" deep
The next step up, and the right home for a standard iPad. Modern iPads run about 10" × 7", and they sit cleanly in here with room for a charger, a power bank, and your daily essentials.
A laptop is still off the table. But if your carry is tablet-based, this is a clean, compact option that doesn't feel oversized.
Satchel 13
13" wide × 9" tall × 3.5" deep | ~7L
This is the smallest bag we make that's genuinely laptop-capable, and for most people carrying a 13" or 14" machine, this is the bag.
A MacBook Air 13" fits without issue. A MacBook Pro 14" — which measures 12.31" wide — slides in with a little room on each side. Comfortable carry. If you've got a hardshell on your 14", it still works. A MacBook Pro 16" won't fit here; you'll need to size up.
Any iPad variant — Pro, standard, mini — goes in without any fuss.
The Satchel 13 is a great daily size. Not so small it feels limiting, not so big it starts to feel like luggage. For most guys, this is the answer.
Satchel 15
15" wide × 10" tall × 3.5" deep
The biggest bag in the Satchel lineup, and where you get real laptop flexibility.
MacBook Air 13" and Pro 14" both fit with room to spare. An older MacBook Air 15" fits comfortably too. The MacBook Pro 16" — at just over 14" wide — will fit along the width, but the height dimension is snug. It'll likely work, but it falls outside our comfortable tolerance range. If you're running a 16" MBP as your daily machine, I'd strongly consider the Muy Grande instead.
Beyond the laptop, you've got room for a padfolio, a notebook, a charger, and accessories. It's a genuinely useful amount of space without crossing into full briefcase territory.
Muy Grande
16.5" wide × 11" tall × 4" deep
This is the bag for people who need to carry a lot, or carry a big machine.
It has a padded internal laptop sleeve designed to handle up to a 17" laptop. A MacBook Pro 16" fits with room. And because the front has a panel of three built-in pouches, there's space for your full kit — hard drives, cables, charger brick, whatever your setup requires.
It wears like a messenger bag and it's heavier than the Satchels. This is a serious bag. If you have a larger machine or just need the capacity, this is where to look. It's my daily work bag.
Sling
11.5" tall × 8" wide × 3.5" deep | ~5L
Now we're in different territory. The Sling is vertically oriented — a different feel entirely from the Satchels.
An iPad mini fits cleanly. A standard iPad is doable. A laptop is off the table.
The Sling isn't trying to be a laptop bag. What it's great for is lighter carry — phone, AirPods, a small charger, a power bank, an admin pouch, an e-reader, the essentials you want quick access to without digging into a bigger bag. A lot of people run this as their everyday bag or their travel bag when they're not bringing the full kit.
Sling Plus
13" tall × 9.5" wide × 3.5" deep
The Sling Plus takes the same vertical design and steps it up. This one actually gets into laptop territory.
A MacBook Pro 14" will fit. I've got a thin hardshell on mine and there's still some wiggle room. An iPad Pro fits comfortably — a natural use case.
You can also add a SlingPack Converter to turn it into a backpack, which is a nice option to have if you want that flexibility.
