great bag for courses that are harder to hike, or for short courses
I use this bag as a replacement for my big cart that i roll around. For any course that isn't very cart-friendly I switch it out for this guy. It can hold two drivers, two midranges, and one putter easily with some room in the front putter sleeve for a few small accessories. Let's be real, you don't need all of those 30 discs in your bag and you can't even throw most of them correctly. This bag will force you to learn how to throw a few select discs really well. Pros: -Not made of plastic -Lightweight -Strong materials -Strap is super thick without being cumbersome -Plenty of room for essentials and a little more -Nothing feels cheap, everything has a quality fit and form. Cons: -Kinda looks like a purse so if you're insecure you probably won't like it. If you're a chick or a guy who dgaf, you'll be fine. -A little expensive for some people, but honestly the quality is so high that it's definitely worth it. -Doesn't have a ton of space, maybe something like a mini disc holder under the flap or on the back could be added later or on a slightly bigger version. Overall the pros outweigh the cons by a longshot. This is the best bag I've ever had. Hopefully they'll make a cart attachment for putters and accessories soon since all of the available options in that category are god awful. A big bag to wear on your back would be nice too. Something similarly minimal like all of the other NutSacs. Something that doesn't look like a huge, bulky disc golf bag.
Great small bag
I used the bag for the first time today. I’m pretty short 5’2” (female) so I really had to cinch up the strap to wear it cross body which is my preference. I’ll prob cut the strap shorter so it doesn’t have such a long tail. The main compartment is good for 4 discs. I left the front part open and put my phone and keys in it. I wish it had a spot for a water bottle but in fairness I knew it didn’t when I purchased it and being a small bag it doesn’t necessarily make sense to have one. I do wish it had a little attachment for a key ring inside so you can be sure they don’t fall out. Bag stands up well and the materials seem durable. I’m excited to see how it lasts after more wear. I’m happy with my purchase. It fit my preference for not haunting around a huge bag.
I love it! Great product! Just one issue, I play disc golf very early in the morning so the disc are usually wet when I stuff them back in. The OG is so good it holds water! I solved the problem by putting a grommet hole in the very bottom. Now it’s my main single bag! Thanks for making a great product in the USA!
Love the new OG bag…except...
I haven’t taken it our yet, because I also purchased the double NutSac from Amazon at the same time. I needed the extra pocket and drink holder. I am thinking of returning the OG, but I like the heavier waxed cotton, look and feel, it’s difficult to give it up. I wish you had of at least put the drink holder as an add-on option on the OG. Then there is no question it would best the best. And another pocket would make it better yet again. A little frustrating…but...I love your stuff. Thx, Jim
What Do You Throw, Bro?
I carry 7 discs and can do it all with what I got. Why do you carry 20 discs? I’ve had a NutSac for the last 10 years and finally wore it out. The OG waxed canvas was reissued just in time for my next 10 years.
