I’ve had the satchel 11 for 5 plus years now & 3 things that have always bugged me...... 1- front strap (looks cool but I fell it can’t be left undone. Maybe ODC??) 2- can’t fit a sheet of paper 3- not back slip pocket Well this bag solves 2 of the 3. I’m sure (I don’t run a bag factory) the increase in price is due to changing up production which makes the bag more expensive but then again since it’s a limited run to see how it sells they could have thrown in the padded strap as a gift. (But then again I don’t run a bag factory) I got this bag on the secondary market used but u couldn’t tell it was & only gave $125.00. Had I not & bought from the Nutsac website I would have probably went with the tacsac 13 instead. Also I bought from Nutsac the padded strap. Will also review it but wow the straps have changed since back in the day. New one is much more softer & the brown looks way better instead of the black strap.

I bought the Mag-Satch 11 and loved it. So when I saw there was a Mag-Satch 13, I had to buy it and I'm glad I did. Same wonderful bag, sturdy and great looking, but... well, bigger. So, of course, now I'm hoping there'll be a even larger Mag-Satch sometime in the future.

I have tried ordering many bags in the past for everyday carry and have struggled to find something that is both practical, elegantly laid out in terms of storage, and frankly looks amazing for a guy to carry around. Being an engineer I also tend to be overly critical of what I would consider design flaws or lack of consideration for the user. A few years ago that changed when I ordered the Mag-Satch 11. I fell in love with it for my everyday carry. The challenge was it didn't quite fit my 13" MacBook Pro but otherwise was what I would call a perfect bag. When I saw that NutSac had released the Mag-Satch 13 I didn't hesitate to order it. It is absolutely perfect in every way for my daily use. I do not think I will ever have a need to replace it with an alternative as they have created the ideal bag.

As with all my other NutSacs, the bag is fantastic. The only drawback is the shoulder strap. I hoped that since this was a reissue it would have been updated to come with the same shoulder strap and pad as my TacSac 13, or at least have them available to purchase. Otherwise, it’s a great bag and works out perfect for school.
